Pentonville - 50% there.

Great win, Forest we’re fucking terrible though. Villa won’t be that bad.

As much as I want Moyes gone and nothing will change that I’m still West Ham and want us to win.

Let’s hope I’m shockingly wrong and you are right.

12th place and ECL cup would be nice.

Let’s see though. Don’t let’s get carried away just yet 😘

It's alright slag me off as much as you want, call me defeatist, make it personal like Manuel, but come back to this thread in may

Re: Team in the Championship
No way in a million years will Zouma or Ings be at the club if we get relegated, not on a hundred grand a week plus. Regardless Zouma certainly won't stay around no matter what he is on. The likes of even Emerson are on 80 odd grand a week. The only players I could possibly see us keeping would be maybe Fab, Cress, Soucek, Johnson and Benrahma, maybe Oggy.

Less of the pointless please, Pagey.

I like how the long suffering West Ham fans have held the club back. You wally.

I still think you’re a pointless prick who offers nothing, but crack on if it makes you happy.

Re: Team in the Championship
But Moyes is staying, this morning reports he has full backing.....absolutely bonkers. I just dont see us winning enough games with him in charge. We dont look like scoring let alone winning.

Anyway suspect team in champ would look like this

Fab

Johnson Zouma New CB New LB

Downes Fornals Soucek

New RW Ings Benrahma

What an absolute load of bollocks.

This club has been shockingly mismanaged over the years, that is what has held us back. And in fact, I'd say West Ham fans are the opposite to defeatist generally, in the face of the absolute fucking shit we've been mostly served up over the years.

Well I've not seen anyone say they think we will stay up if Moyes stays?

Manuel

I agree - Moyes goes, we stay up.

Hence the line “cut the cancer out now or we go down”.

Moyes stays we 100 percent go down.

There is nothing to suggest otherwise.

We have the players and if acted now I think we could finish 12th there are 7 or 8 games where I think we could possibly pick up wins but we won’t with Moyes.

I’ll be as gutted as anyone and I don’t want us to go down, this is torture every week having to watch this shit turned out by that Cunt Moyes but if they stick with him it’s Championship - make the change and we’ll be fine.

Manuel 9:06 Tue Feb 21
Re: Team in the Championship
Charoo - I think the hope comes from Moyes will go and there is still time for a new bloke to come in and finish at least 17th.

While it's getting harder to be optimistic by the day, I still think we will stay up, as do most pundits, ex players/managers, neutral fans and the bookies. You think we will go down, fine, let's see who's right come May.

Re: Team in the Championship
This post or thread isn’t what’s wrong - it’s our board and our manager.

Anyone who genuinely doesn’t think we are going down can you please explain what you’re seeing?

1 win since October
4 shots on target in our last 3 games
20 points from 23 games
19 goals scored in 23 games.
No away win since August.

That’s not even getting started on our Stats from 2022 and all the other rumblings coming out the club.

Our club has a cancer and unless it gets cut out we are going down.

Anyone of value will be sold and we’ll be left with mainly players in their early 30’s on 1 year contracts.

If the club don’t act now - we WILL be in the Chanpionship next season, that’s not being defeatist it’s being realistic.

Re: Team in the Championship
Miike, it’s incredibly defeatist mate. We are in big trouble and Moyes has definitely reverted back to type, but this thread is the ultimate in having a loser’s mentality. The exact thing that has held us back for generations.

Re: Team in the Championship
pagey, I think it's realistic not defeatist. he's (moyes) unwilling to change and continuing with a system that's failed all season. what's worrying and why I have a go is everyone should see it doesn't work, yet go on the match threads before kick off and you'll have endless line ups going on with the same five at the back shite that's put us in this predicament

steve, ignore the fucking idiots having a pop, it's a perfectly reasonable question given the position we're in. the same clueless cunts were pleading for him to be given more time in october & november

……..

Miike, if he’d written ‘if’ instead of ‘when’ when writing the below, you might have had a point.

‘So who out this current team are going to be staying with the club when we are in the championship next season.’

As it’s written above, it’s a wanky defeatist loser thread.

Re: Team in the Championship
Should we go down I expect we would likely lose most or all of:

one or both of Fabianski or Areola (Fab may stay)
Zouma
Coufal
Aguerd
Kehrer
Emerson
Lanzini
Soucek
Rice
Paqueta
(I get the feeling Fornals may stay for a season)
Antonio
Bowen
Scammaca
Cornet (really big loss there...)
Ings

So 10-15 players. Probably for far less than we paid.

Owch.

Still, likely not Sullivan's problem so why should he give a fuck?

Re: Team in the Championship
Losing the likes of Ashby, Alese and Kwah all who would have been part of the squad in the championship, tells me that there is no plan for it by the club. If it doesn't come into their thinking then we are well and truly walking a fucking tightrope.

Re: Team in the Championship
Whether we go down or not there's a lot of our squad coming to the end of their careers and will need replacing whether or not Kretinsky puts his hand in his pocket which I think he already has or we have bright new manager that will blood some of our youngsters !
These are worrying times for us and how Moyes is still in charge is beyond me.
